Dr. Katherine "Katie" Christine Bartush has returned to UT Health San Antonio to practice Sports Medicine and Foot & Ankle surgery. She focuses on treating patients' knee, shoulders, elbows, hips and ankles at the Medical Arts & Research Center in the Medical Center.
Throughout her training, she has earned awards for excellence in Orthopedics and research. She has been published in peer-reviewed journals, written surgical technique articles, and performed clinical research. She is also a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society.
Dr. Kenneth-Nwosa is the head team physician for the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) Athletics, and he's an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at UT Health San Antonio.
He provides comprehensive preventive care as well as expert treatment for a full range of sports-related injuries. He is able to coordinate complete orthopaedic care for his patients through his direct access to UT Health's team of imaging professionals, physical and occupational therapists, athletic trainers, orthopedic surgeons and other specialists.
