Ildiko Agoston, MD, FACC, FASE, FASNC
Ildiko Agoston, MD, received her degree in 1996 at Semmelweis University of Medicine in Budapest, Hungary. She completed her internal medicine residency training in Philadelphia and completed her fellowship training in cardiology and adult echocardiography at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She trained in cardiac MRI and cardiac CT. She has held academic appointments at UTMB Galveston and Baylor College of Medicine. While at Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Agoston developed a Women’s Center promoting comprehensive evidence-based care.
She relocated to San Antonio with her family and sees patients at UT Health Cardiology in the Medical Arts and Research Center (MARC). She serves as the Medical Director of the cardiology practice at the MARC. She passionately developed yet another evidence-based women’s program located at the MARC called The Women’s Comprehensive Health Institute.
