UT Health San Antonio doctors get high marks from peers

UT Health San Antonio female physician
UT Health San Antonio’s female physicians are among the area’s best, doing everything it takes to keep patients healthy and help them heal faster and stronger.

From anesthesiology to surgical oncology, UT Health San Antonio physicians represented nearly one third of the providers included in Scene in S.A.’s “Outstanding Women in Medicine 2022” (see page 36). The annual list is compiled based on survey input from thousands of Bexar County physicians and dentists indicating to whom among their peers they would refer patients.

As the largest physician group in the 32-county region in South Texas — with more than 1,400 medical and dental providers — UT Health San Antonio provides patient care expertise in dozens of specialty care areas through a growing number of locations serving the broad health needs of the region’s diverse population. Congratulations to UT Health San Antonio’s “Outstanding Women in Medicine.”
