UT Select Behavioral Health Services

You can find a mental health counselor covered by UT Select merely by accessing the Blue Cross Blue Shield website.

Click on “Do a quick search”. From the "Browse" field select “Behavioral Health” and click enter. You can narrow your search in multiple ways.

 

 

UT Employee Assistance Program

UTEAP staffs a 24-hour crisis line, 1-800-346-3549, and offers tele-counseling as well as in-person appointments with mental health providers.

Primary Care Behavioral Health Consultants

Working closely with your primary care physician, a behavioral health consultant uses a problem-focused approach to address a variety of issues, including stress and trauma. To schedule an appointment, please contact your primary care physician’s office directly, or calling 210-450-9100.
