President’s Forum 2022: University on growth trajectory

The university not only weathered the COVID-19 pandemic, but also experienced significant growth over the last three years, said President William L. Henrich, MD, MACP, at the April 18 President’s Forum. It was the first forum held in person since the onset of the pandemic.

There is much more growth to come, including the construction of seven new structures on the Greehey Campus, he promised.

“It’s been three years of incredible growth,” he said. “If you had told me three years ago that this would be our trajectory, I would not have believed it.”

The President’s Forum is held twice a year and is an opportunity for Dr. Henrich to update the university community about advancements made in academics, research and patient care. The next President’s Forum is scheduled for Oct. 13.
