UT Health Physicians took the No. 1 spot in the medical category and UT Dentistry placed No. 1 in the dental category in the 2023 YourSA San Antonio Express-News Readers' Choice Awards. More than 260,000 voters chose this year's winners in over 170 categories.
Saturday's Give Cancer the Boot: Survivorship 5K/1 Mile Walk was a huge success, and we have a lot of people to thank for that - especially the over 800 survivors and supporters who participated! We also had an incredible group of volunteers, vendors, sponsors, and in-kind donations that helped contribute to our success.
It’s true what they say, it takes a village, and the success of the event was truly a group effort! Be sure to mark your calendars for next year’s race on April 6, 2024!

No obscene words, gestures or symbols are allowed.
If an employee’s shirt is deemed inappropriate for the workplace, they will be sent home to change, and vacation leave will be used to make up their time.

Tuesday, 4/25: UT Employees are bar none! Western day with hats, boots, shirts and bandanas!

Friday, 4/28:Battle of the Flowers Day! Show off your Fiesta Flair or rock a UT Spirit shirt!
The UT Health San Antonio Multispecialty and Research Hospital is expected to open in 2024. When complete, the hospital will be eight stories tall; will house 12 operating rooms, 144 beds and state-of-the-art technology; and have a sky bridge connecting it to the Mays Cancer Center.
Starting Monday, April 10, you can purchase the 2023 Fiesta medals for $12 at the Administration office on the first floor of the MARC, 115.01B. Only cash will be accepted. Older medals from previous years can be purchased for $5, while supplies last.

UT Health San Antonio awarded Best Company Outlook
UT Health San Antonio was awarded Best Company Outlook by Comparably. We received this award out of tens of thousands of large companies based on feedback from our employees over the past 12 months. The Best Company Outlook award from Comparably is based on more than 7,000 ratings provided by more than 200 employee participants.
Teams of five to seven people are invited to participate in the Spring Forward wellness challenge. Teams that track 1 million combined steps from April 3-May 3 will earn 100 points toward the Believe, Achieve and Succeed levels on the UT Living Well platform powered by Limeaid.
You also will be able to search for teams to join if you don't have one already. Employees, dependents and retirees who are UT SELECT, UT CONNECT or UT Care members and age 18 or over are eligible. Download the app to your device to participate and track steps.
