On January 27, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved a novel drug therapy, elacestrant, a treatment for postmenopausal women and adult men with ER+/HER2- advanced or metastatic breast cancer. Mays Cancer Center served as the lead site for the study evaluating Phase I and Phase III of the clinical trial.

The mission of the Texas Substance Use Symposium (TxSUS) is to reduce the burden of substance use on Texas communities. TxSUS offers a FREE continuing education curriculum, panel discussions, and networking opportunities.

The symposium features UT Health San Antonio substance use disorder expert Jennifer Sharpe Potter, PhD, MPH, vice president of research, as a keynote speaker!
