Possibility and Promise | Strategic Plan FY23-27

Possibility and Promise, our five-year strategic plan for Fiscal Years 2023 to 2027, lays out an integrated set of choices that will uniquely position the university in its industry to create sustainable advantage and superior value in delivering our mission. The plan is in the final stages of review with expectations to launch in September 2022.

Our strategic plan seeks to motivate, engage, and inspire the significant advancements required for our university to deliver our desired outcome – to be a nationally leading academic health center where education, research and clinical care come together in one place to provide the highest level of care possible including access to medical breakthroughs and leading experts who remain committed to looking ahead at the future of health care.

The five-year plan lays out what we need in terms of our people and our operational excellence to deliver on our missions of education, health care, research and community engagement to meet our vision – to be a world-class academic health center transforming health and health care for a diverse society.

To ensure we receive feedback across the university, the primary components of the strategic plan are now available on our intranet on the Strategic Plan home page. We invite you to read the overview of the plan and provide your thoughts in a quick 5-question pulse survey located on the site. Your contribution to the planning process is important as we want to have a good understanding of what it will take for us to be successful in the plan’s implementation based on your experience.

Thank you in advance for your input. If you have questions, you may contact Nick Del Valle, Senior Manager or Patrick Kaminski, Vice President, in the Office of Strategic Planning.
