San Antonio is back to hosting one of the world's largest breast cancer symposiums, where doctors will discuss the latest approved treatments.

Fox News Midday was able to talk with Dr. Virginia Kaklamani, Breast Oncologist at UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center.

She tells us about the latest treatment patients can receive that go beyond chemotherapy, and could help them prevent losing their hair while trying to fight cancer.

The symposium will take place Dec. 7-10 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.

The 2021 SABCS is unique this year because it offers attendees the unique opportunity to participate in a hybrid event, in-person, onsite in San Antonio or virtually.
