Vasan Ramachandran, MD, a distinguished public health researcher at Boston University and principal investigator of the Framingham Heart Study, has been named founding dean of The University of Texas School of Public Health San Antonio.
The School of Nursing’s Green Wellness Program: Plants-2-Plate is seeking participants for a new cohort starting this fall. Participants will be challenged to follow a whole food, plant-based nutrition plan, and will learn how to adopt a healthy lifestyle and eating pattern centered around foods that come primarily from plants, like fruits, vegetables, nuts, whole grains and legumes.
