Mays Cancer Center, home to UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson invites you to attend the
TEXAS MPN WORKSHOP (TMW) 2022: Third Annual Workshop and Meeting.

Our aim is to bring together medical experts in the field of MPN to discuss the many new research and therapy options in development for MPN patients. We expect a deep dive into the role of current and new therapies in MPN. This truly international event will have many key investigators and thought leaders of the MPN community presenting and participating.

Virtual registration will remain open until the the second day of the Texas MPN Workshop, August 27.

2The Patient Advocate registration category is reserved exclusively for patient advocates and is not intended for medical professionals. Individuals interested in registering under this category either work or volunteer for national not-for-profit patient advocacy organizations that demonstrate a charitable mission, engage in patient advocacy activities, provide support for people with cancer, have a nonprofessional membership, do not offer CME or scientific programs for professionals. Individuals registered under this category are not eligible to receive continuing education credit for their attendance. 

Substitution Policy
Substitution of registration (same type) is permitted prior to August 5, 2022. Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant with written consent.  Written consent from the original registrant or by the person who paid for the registration is required. The individual submitting the substitution request is responsible for all financial obligations associated with that substitution as well as updating any contact/demographic information. Email substitution requests to UTHealthMTG@uthscsa.edu.


Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing no later than August 5, 2022, and are subject to a $25 processing fee for paid registrations. Refunds will not be granted after August 5, 2022,  nor will they be given for no-shows. Please email cancellations to UTHealthMTG@uthscsa.edu.

Everyone must register to attend.
Due to liability restriction and concerns, children under eighteen years of age may not participate in any part of the conference.

Exhibits & Support

The 2022 Texas MPN (Myeloproliferative Neoplasms) Workshop welcomes support from industry, corporations and other organizations that share its mission on raising awareness of and for MPN research and patient care for healthcare professionals. The goal of the meeting is to identify the major challenge areas in the field of MPN in order to maximize research efforts and research collaborations. This year we are offering an in person and live streaming option for virtual attendees. 

PROSPECTUS 

Education Grants
Support for general educational programming costs or specific items, or printed materials which are components of the educational program. The symposia office uses grant funds to defray expenses associated with educational activities in compliance with ACCME guidelines. If your company or organization offers educational grants in support of CME accredited educational activities related to clinical studies of new anticancer agents and current treatment strategies, we would appreciate receiving the grant application information. Exhibits
A limited number of exhibits are available. The symposia office uses exhibit fees to defray non-educational operating expenses. All exhibit tables include two complimentary registrations and Lead Management.

cONTINUING EDUCATION


Continuing Medical Education
The UT Health Science Center San Antonio is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

UT Health San Antonio designates this live activity up to a maximum of 14.50 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.


Maintenance of Certification (MOC)
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the polling and evaluation components, enables the participant to earn MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
