Rapamycin may lead to healthier hearts and longer lives
 

UT Health San Antonio researchers are seeking healthy participants between the ages of 70 and 95 for a clinical trial to study what effects Rapamycin (an FDA-approved medication) has and its effects on heart function, heart muscle stiffening and other effects on circulation. Qualified participants will receive compensation.

Transition to new vendor for leave of absence requests
 

UT Health San Antonio has transitioned processing some of our employee leave of absence requests to Flores Leave Solutions, an experienced vendor in leave administration. As we are rapidly growing, we hope this transition to a dedicated leave administrator will simplify and expedite leave requests for our employees outside of regular time off requests.
