CPRIT adds $10.9 million to UT Health San Antonio cancer research and prevention efforts
 

The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UT Health San Antonio) is receiving $10.9 million in new research and faculty recruitment awards announced Feb. 16 by the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT). The statewide cancer agency has now awarded $128.7 million to UT Health San Antonio since 2010.

Participants needed for Tai Chi Study
 

Researchers at UT Health San Antonio are seeking volunteers 40-80 years of age with knee osteoarthritis as well as those free of known neuromuscular diseases for a two-week Tai Chi study to investigate biomechanical risk factors.
