UT Health San Antonio employees who served in the UT System for milestone anniversaries from five to 50 years were honored May 10 at the Service Anniversary Celebration—the first held in person since 2019.
In light of Tuesday's tragedy in Uvalde, we welcome employees to wear a maroon shirt, accessory, or ribbon as an outward display of our support for our neighboring community, family and friends. Maroon is the school color of the Uvalde School District and Robb Elementary. Maroon shirts must be worn with standard uniform scrub bottoms.

Debra Kent, DNP, MSN, APRN-CNP, RN, has recently joined the Mays Cancer Center as our new director of the cancer survivorship clinics. Debra will be responsible for growing our survivorship program for adults, adolescents and children for our cancer services.
UT Health San Antonio is partnering with Gallup, a nationally recognized research organization, to conduct an Employee Engagement Survey of our staff employees to measure and positively impact employee engagement. The survey takes 7-15 minutes, and all responses are completely confidential. All staff employees hired as of April 1, 2022 received an email from gallup.com on May 16 with a link to the survey.
